What dog owners are saying
Our dog seems more relaxed during thunderstorms!
These chews have made a noticeable difference in my dog's anxiety! She gets stressed during thunderstorms and fireworks, and these chews help take the edge off. She's noticeably calmer and less reactive to loud noises. The soft chew texture is easy for her to eat. I appreciate the natural ingredients like chamomile, valerian root, and L-theanine. It's a gentle approach to managing her stress without heavy sedation.
Picked these up because we've got a very hyper GSD puppy and a very anxious aging shepsky, and they work great for both of them! They love the treat flavors, going nuts whenever I grab the little cannister. I have noticed that the recommended amount of treats is a little hit or miss based on weight, but test it out and increase or decrease as needed. Since our shepsky doesn't like fireworks and is a little overweight, I found that she needs about 6 for them to work, but the puppy is one 1 treat over his recommended in order for the calming effect to kick in. Either way, if you have dogs that need to stay calm while you're away at work or whatever, these are a great bang for your buck!
We have a puppy - a Pug. She is an unholy terror, completely wired anytime that she isn't entirely unconscious. We also have an aging Pug that takes issue sometimes with the youngster's antics. In an effort to keep the peace, we thought we would try these calming chews to see if we could manage to back off the throttle on the little one just a bit when she starts parkouring through the house and bouncing off the head of the older dog.The chews are alleged to be chicken-flavored. I didn't taste-test them so the jury is still out on that accuracy of the flavor, but I can say that both dogs ate these chews without complaint. Now, I get it - Pugs are notorious for eating anything and everything, practically without tasting it. Ours are generally no different, but I have actually encountered chews and supplements that they will NOT eat, so being able to give these without hiding them in other foods is a plus.It took about a half-hour, but these did seem to have a calming effect on both dogs - the older dog was practically asleep (which isn't unusual), and the younger dog was markedly less inclined to run at insane speeds through the house (which IS unusual). Normally her running fits will last at least 45 minutes to an hour, so I can attribute the sudden calmness to the chews.I tried the experiment the following day as well, with the same results, so it wasn't a fluke.I see using these to reduce the stress of any number of traumatic events in the life of a Pug - vehicle rides, trips to the vet, fireworks being set off in the neighborhood, or the very worst of all - nail-trimming day.Seriously - these work. Highly recommend.
I get these types of chews because I live in an apartment complex and sometimes the sounds can trigger his anxiety. These seem to work, however, he seems to like the flavor of the other brand I get him more. Seeing as every dog is different, I won't take a star off for that since they seem to do what they are advertised to do.
These calming chews have been a win across the board—Pax and Bandit love them, and since they do exactly what they’re supposed to do, Liz and I love them too. 😬No wrestling, no suspicious sniff-and-walk-away routine—just happy dogs who treat these like, well… treats. What impressed me most is how balanced the effect is. They take the edge off without turning the dogs into couch zombies. Stressful moments—loud noises, changes in routine, general canine overthinking—are noticeably easier for them to handle. Here’s what stood out:* 🐶 Dog-approved taste – Chicken flavor passes the sniff test immediately.* 😌 Effective calming support – Takes the edge off without sedation.* 🌿 Thoughtful ingredient blend – Chamomile, valerian root, L-theanine, passionflower, and ashwagandha work together nicely.* 🦴 Added glucosamine – A great bonus for joint support.* ⏱️ Works consistently – Reliable results with regular use.* 📦 Generous count – 120 chews goes a long way. These are especially nice for everyday stress management—not just fireworks or thunderstorms, but the normal chaos of life that can get dogs a little wound up.👉🏻 Final Verdict: A calming chew that actually delivers real-world results and dogs genuinely enjoy eating. Five stars without hesitation—Pax and Bandit have spoken, and we agree.٭ Vine Transparency Note: This product was received through the Amazon Vine program.
